Commentary:

Chase’s performance with the stick is not the reason I’m writing about him tonight, his return after leaving last night’s game with an injury is… Good to see Chase back on the field.

One night after top prospect, Chase Headley left the game early, 2006 2nd rounder, Wade Leblanc leaves the game in the fourth inning. If anyone knows why, please let me know.

I was wondering if Matt Antonelli’s arm was still bothering. I think it’s fine.

Cedric Hunter walked to open the bottom of the first inning. Cedric went on to steal a base, then advanced to third on a groundout and later scored on a single… I’m not the biggest fan of stolen bases attempts, but you gotta love Cedric’s athleticism – especially when it is present in such an intelligent hitter.
