Commentary:

It’s good to see P-Mac getting more time at 3B. It’s also good to see him smacking all those extra-base hits (37 of his 83 hits are of the extra-base variety).

It’s also good to see our younger players doing well. Kazmar is the second youngest player (to Headley) on the Lake Elsinore team. He’s not excelling (.241/.321/.343) but he has had a few big games lately and his strike-out/walk rate is solid (44 BB/53 SO). He could still come around.

With catchers Josh Bard and Rob Bowen (and Mike Piazza) doing well enough that Kottaras is expendable as a trading chip, it is reassuring to see Nick Hundley doing well.

I need more info on Oyervidez…
