Commentary

Big news Wednesday with Mat Latos' and Will Inman's promotions. Latos was not promoted to High-A as I assumed, he was skipped High-A and was sent to AA. Will Inman was promoted from AA to AAA.

He didn’t make my Pitcher of the Day list, but Tim Stauffer had yet another strong relief outing. Stauffer has pitched in 4 games since his return to action and in each outing he has gone 2+ innings, allowed 1 hit, struck out 1+ without a walk and more importantly without allowing a run (totals: 8.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 SO, 0 HR).
