Other Commentary

Well, according to MiLB.com, SignOnSanDiego.com, and Padres.com, Allan Dykstra is a Padre after all… Yesterday I noted that Brett Mooneyham turned down the Padres’ offer… I cannot help but wonder if lingering concerns regarding Dykstra’s hip injury was subterfuge for the Padres because they wanted Mooneyham more than Dykstra.

As a Padre fan, I am pleased to have Dykstra’s bat in the system. With the additions of Darnell and Dykstra, we just added two more solid bats to the organization.
