Will Venable notched his 20th double and his 8th HR. There’s less and less talk that he cannot handle CF. He doesn’t have ideal power, but going into Wednesday’s contest he was batting .319/.386/.494… I’ve always been a Venable fan, but I did not think he would wind up as an MLB regular. With the numbers he’s putting up, he deserves a shot.
